STUDY, BECOME FAMILIAR WITH, AND UNDERSTAND MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Course in tune with the modern cultural and social requirements the aim of which is to facilitate the many professional choices in the field of education, training and social work through general personal growth. The course allows the student to acquire a general education in various fields and provides instruments to evaluate and interpret the present dedicating particular attention to intercultural phenomena related to the world of work. The course also focuses on innovation with the experimentation of class 3.0, which has by now become fully operational, and entails the use of cooperative teaching and the complete development of digital technologies.

OBJECTIVES

  • Improvement of English language to attain a First Certificate level on completion;
  • Acquisition of transversal skills through sociology, art and literature workshop techniques;
  • Social-educational internship in order to acquire an adequate preparation to access University faculties of sociology, psychology, economics and law;
  • Acquisition of skills in cooperative work and in digital technologies;
  • Development and acquisition of soft skills and non-cognitive skills required in the workplace;
  • Reinforcement of self-esteem and confidence through the theatre workshop;
  • Involvement of the student in the running of the lessons through education 3.0.

EDUCATIONAL TOOLS

  • Classrooms set up as laboratories, with interactive whiteboard (IWB), cabling and Wi-Fi coverage;
  • Computer lab;
  • Digital education and tablet for every student;
  • Theatre workshop;
  • Multimedia room for meetings, conferences and lessons;
  • Gym and sports equipment.

METHOD

  • Stimulate active participation in lessons and in the classroom in general;
  • Encourage cooperation and teamwork through the “cooperative learning” method;
  • Teach English and reinforce the study of a second language with the international method: focus on comprehension and communication;
  • Perfect the skills of analysis, summary and critical thought;
  • Use of teaching workshops for all subjects;
  • Do part of the school-work alternation (PCTO) abroad;
  • Organise meetings relating to the choice of University or insertion in the world of work;
  • Establish the school-work alternating system (PCTO).
